Leah's journey as a Colorado and Destination Wedding Photographer began when she first set foot in the breathtaking Colorado mountains during her first year of college in Denver. Originally hailing from Texas, she fell in love with the sense of awe and inspiration that the mountains naturally evoke. It was during these adventures that she discovered her passion for photography, and from then on, a camera was a constant companion on her journeys. As word of her talent spread, couples began seeking her out to capture their love stories against the backdrop of Colorado's majestic landscapes. Over time, her artistry transcended Colorado, and she started venturing to destinations worldwide. Leah is now a dedicated full-time wedding photographer and entrepreneur who continually dreams about her next global adventure. She thrives on connecting with couples and bringing their unique love stories to life on their wedding day.

Inspiration is everywhere! I find the act of observation to be a profound influence on my work. Beyond my tendency to romanticize life's little details, my creative wellspring is fueled by various sources, including travel, nature, timeless art, music, fashion, movies, design, and, most significantly, authentic love. Nothing stirs my passion more than capturing the essence of genuine romantic love set against backdrops like landscapes, urban streets, and textured environments. These are the elements that ignite my creativity and fuel my dedication to telling your love story through the lens.

My educational journey has a unique path! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Human Nutrition, which may not seem related to photography at first glance. However, it's where my creative journey began when I started a food blog. This venture into food photography eventually led me to capturing love stories, and I've been deeply passionate about it ever since. As I delved deeper into the world of wedding photography, I invested significantly in continuing education. I've received training from prominent photographers and educators, such as KT Merry, Sophie Kaye, Christophe Serrano, Jeremy Chou, AMV Retreats, Adventure Instead, Henry Tieu, Annie Graham, and roundtheworldgirl. These educational experiences covered various aspects of photography, including composition, storytelling, fine-art photography, client experience, luxury wedding photography, business, marketing, and leadership, among others. My diverse background and ongoing education empower me to deliver the highest quality of photography services for your special day.

My list of dream destinations for photographing weddings continues to grow, but some of my personal dream locations include Antarctica, Italy, the Faroe Islands, Bali, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland. While I aspire to capture the beauty of these places, I've also had the pleasure of visiting some of my favorite destinations, such as France, Scotland, and Guatemala. My passion for travel and photography drives me to seek unique and memorable locations to create extraordinary wedding stories.
